Teletherapy Speech-Language Pathologist Job for West Virginia School
Sunbelt is looking for a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy focused on functional communication and vocational skills for high school students
- Work with students on preparing for post-graduation communication needs (e.g., job interviews, social skills for the workplace, self-advocacy)
- Support students with speech or language impairments in preparing for life after high school through IEP goals
- Conduct transition assessments and collaborate with counselors and other school staff to implement appropriate plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide detailed progress reports
Caseload Information:
- Grades: 9 – 12
- Caseload: 20 students
- Focus on functional communication, social skills, and preparing for post-secondary life
Job Details:
- Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Pay: Competitive flat hourly rate, based on experience
- Location: Virtual, school is based in West Virginia
Minimum Requirements:
- SLP license in your state of residence, as well as West Virginia
- ASHA CCCs
- Two years of school-based SLP experience
- One year of teletherapy experience
- Experience working with transition-aged students preferred
