Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, designing individualized IEPs to meet student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, monitoring student progress and modifying treatments as needed.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to address communication challenges effectively.
- Conduct screenings, document findings, and engage in team discussions for coordinated planning.
- Advocate for students, offer training to staff, and engage in professional development to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Kansas SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
