Job Description:
Sunbelt/Vocovision is looking for a compassionate and experienced Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work remotely with students in Illinois. This role offers both part-time and full-time positions, providing flexibility to fit your schedule. As a Virtual SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to support students in their speech and language development, all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Illinois.
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions using a secure online platform.
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective student support.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to setting student goals.
Requirements:
- A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Illinois State License and Certification as an SLP.
- Experience working with children and school-aged students.
- Strong communication skills and comfort with virtual platforms.
- Proficient with technology for online therapy sessions and record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with virtual therapy is a plus.
- ASHA certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with IEP development and case management.
