Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Kansas (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time Work From Home Opportunity- Part-time opportunities available
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
- IEP Development: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' communication needs within the educational environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all services are in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as district policies.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize teletherapy platforms and other digital tools effectively to deliver high-quality services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting
