Teletherapy position: ASL proficient SLPs needed to work with a California school
Soliant has partnered with a school district in California to find a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services remotely.
This position is full-time, begins ASAP, and will likely be available during the extended school year.
The SLP will be working with students who communicate mainly by signing. Age groups will be varied, but caseload is expected to be manageable.
We seek applicants who have at least TWO YEARS of experience in school settings, and who are eligible for a California license in Speech Pathology. There are additional requirements relating to web connectivity and computer hardware, which will be assessed during a tech screen.
To thrive in this position, interested speech therapists would need to be a self-starter and a problem solver. While teletherapy has grown by leaps and bounds in education settings, it is still a tool, and not a catch-all solution.
