Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position | North Carolina
VocoVision is collaborating with an excellent school district in North Carolina to recruit a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role in the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must have prior experience in educational settings. The district is keen to fill this position quickly, so apply now for immediate consideration!
Important Note: You are not required to live in North Carolina to apply, but you must possess a license for both your home state and the state in which you will work.
Job Information:
- Position: Full-time for the 2024-2025 school year
- Hourly Rate: $45-$47/hr, paid weekly (rate depends on virtual experience; includes direct and indirect services)
- Contract Type: Independent contractor
- Professional Liability Insurance: Necessary upon offer
- Details on scheduling and caseload will be discussed during a Zoom interview with the director/coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses related to speech, voice, hearing, and language issues
- Focus mainly on supervision and indirect services
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to implement effective interventions
Experience Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in a school-based environment is necessary
Certification Needed:
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Up-to-date state clearances (including fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
