Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Position – New Mexico
VocoVision is collaborating with a school district in New Mexico to hire a skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a remote position through the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year. Please note: You do not need to live in New Mexico, but you must hold a valid license in both the state where you reside and the state where you will be practicing.
Position Overview:
- Work Type: Full-time or part-time for the 2024-2025 school year
- Pay: Varies per individual (years of experience, license(s), etc.)
- Job Type: Independent contractor
- Services: Includes direct and indirect speech therapy
- Insurance: Professional liability insurance required upon offer
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations and diagnostic assessments for speech, language, voice, and hearing disorders.
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans focusing on language development, articulation, social communication, and other speech needs, all virtually.
- Collaborate with teachers and school personnel remotely to integrate therapy strategies into student plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience working in a school-based setting is required.
- Licensure: Valid New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Clearances: Current state clearances including background check, fingerprints, and TB testing (if applicable).
