Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, and fluency; create and execute tailored IEPs.
- Provide therapy services, monitor student outcomes, and adapt treatment plans as needed.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to meet students' communication needs.
- Conduct assessments, keep detailed records, and actively contribute to planning team meetings.
- Promote student advocacy, stay informed about industry trends, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required
- Alaska SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Hourly Rate: $45-$55
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
