Telehealth SLP Pennsylvania
Philadelphia, PA
We're seeking to hire a fully remote SLP for the upcoming school year! This position is part time or fulltime, with SLPs tasked to provide treatment to a caseload composed of K-12 students. Applicants are required to have their CCC's, experience in schools, and a current license.
This is a 1099-contracted position, which provides excellent flexibility to the SLP. SLPAs & Paraprofessionals will be onsite to assist in facilitating therapy services. You'll be equipped with a telehealth platform, with an extensive toolkit and a remote team of clinicians on standby for any additional resources!
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be licensed SLPs by the Pennsylvania state board
- We are willing to interview candidates with an out of state license or pending license
- Must have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- At least two years of experience in schools (if no experience in schools, SLPs must participate in a clinical interview to ensure they have the relevant knowledge in order to be successful in schools)
- Must be able to pass a tech screening prior to interview, ensuring relevant knowledge of technology
- Must have professional liability insurance prior to start date
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the creation & implementation of therapy plans
- Accurate and timely data collection
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address all needs of students
- Maintain a comprehensive therapy plan for each student and consistently document response to interventions
- Completion of documentation for all pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports
- Provide individual and group therapy to students focusing on a variety of areas and needs
