Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Must come from an accredited institution that complies with Illinois educational standards.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is essential.
- Nevada State Licensure: Must currently possess or be eligible for licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Illinois.
- Experience: Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of two years working in school environments or with pediatric clients.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities are vital for engaging with students, staff, parents, and administrators.
