Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telehealth School Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) in Rhode Island to join our team on a contract 1099 basis. In this role, you will provide virtual speech-language therapy services to school-aged children, contributing to their academic and personal growth. You will have the opportunity to work remotely and collaboratively with students, educators, and parents while delivering top-notch speech-language interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized teletherapy plans to address communication goals and objectives.
- Provide engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions to students using innovative telehealth tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with school staff, educators, and parents to provide progress updates, share strategies, and ensure consistent communication.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure as a speech-language pathologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and technologies for remote therapy.
