Location: Telehealth/Remote
Position Overview:
As a Tele-Speech Pathologist in California, your primary role will be to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders using telehealth technology. You will play a crucial role in helping our students achieve their communication and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Create and implement customized speech therapy treatment plans.
- Deliver speech therapy services via telehealth, aligning with IEPs and educational objectives.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and current records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Engage in virtual meetings and consultations with school staff and parents.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging developments in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- California State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting.
- Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for remote service delivery.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable telehealth workspace.
