Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team and provide telehealth-based therapy services to students throughout Illinois. In this full-time, 1099 contractor role, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, along with competitive compensation, as you help children overcome speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Teletherapy Sessions: Provide speech-language therapy remotely to students with diverse needs, using secure online platforms.
- Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, then develop personalized therapy plans based on findings.
- Custom Therapy Plans: Design and implement individualized therapy strategies to promote speech and language development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, teachers, and school personnel to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress notes.
- Tech-Savvy Delivery: Leverage teletherapy platforms and other digital tools to effectively deliver therapy and engage with students.
What We’re Seeking
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and an active Illinois state SLP license.
- Experience: Previous experience providing speech therapy, especially in a school or pediatric setting.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating telehealth platforms and utilizing digital tools for therapy delivery.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to helping students succeed.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and stay on schedule.
- Remote Work Setup: A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home office environment are required.
