Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Michigan
VocoVision is partnering with a reputable school district in Michigan to hire a full-time, remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a great opportunity for an experienced SLP who wants to provide virtual services to students. Job Details:
- Position: Full-time, 2024-2025 School Year
- Hourly Rate: $47-53/hr (paid weekly)
- Based on virtual experience
- Covers direct and indirect services
- Position Type: Independent contractor role
- Insurance: Professional liability insurance required upon offer
- Additional Info: More details on schedule and caseload will be discussed during a Zoom interview with the director/coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses related to speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
- Primarily provide supervision and indirect services.
- Collaborate remotely with teachers and school staff to implement individualized interventions.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum: Two years of experience working in a school-based setting is required.
- Certification:
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Up-to-date state clearances (e.g., fingerprints, TB test if applicable, background check)
- Bilingual in Spanish is not required but preferred.
