Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. As an OT, you will work with individuals across various age groups who are experiencing physical, emotional, or developmental challenges. Your role will involve assessing clients' functional abilities, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing interventions to help them regain independence and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and environmental needs.
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to establish treatment goals and plans.
- Develop individualized treatment programs aimed at improving clients' functional abilities, including activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, mobility, and social skills.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and modalities such as therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and sensory integration techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Clinical experience in evaluating and treating individuals with diverse conditions and disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
