We are actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in a school-based setting near Royal Oak, Michigan. This position is for the full school year and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, providing speech and language services to those who need them most.
Position Overview:
- Location: Royal Oak, MI
- Caseload/Population: K - 12
- Assignment Period: Full school year
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students with speech and language difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support student development
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications:
- Michigan SLP licensure required
- Master's in Speech Language Pathology or Related field
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for helping children overcome communication barriers
