Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor (Remote - 10-16 hours/week)

Location: Remote (Supervising SLPA at two school locations)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Supervisor to oversee a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working across two schools. This remote, part-time position allows for flexible hours while providing crucial support and guidance to the SLPA in their professional development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide remote supervision for an SLPA working at two school sites, offering mentorship and guidance in therapy delivery.
- Support the SLPA in the creation of treatment plans, tracking student progress, and ensuring adherence to best practices in speech therapy.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings (usually between 8 AM and 4 PM).
- Ensure all practices meet regulatory and professional standards.
- Conduct an initial meeting with the SLPA to determine role compatibility and readiness.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure expectations are clear and support smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Availability to supervise and attend IEP meetings a minimum of three days per week.
- Prior experience in speech-language pathology, with a preference for candidates with supervisory experience or experience mentoring SLPAs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective remote collaboration with school staff and families.
- Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is a must.
