Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Reading, PA Area
ProCare Therapy is working with a school district in the Reading, PA area to offer an exciting remote opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their staff for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. Position Details
- Duration: March start, June end (possible ESY extension)
- Hours: 25-30 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Hourly Rate: $53-$55, paid weekly
- Position Type: Independent contractor
- Services Provided: Both direct and indirect therapy
- Liability Insurance: Required upon hiring
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct remote evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and hearing disorders.
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans addressing communication, articulation, social skills, and language development for students virtually.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy plans into students’ overall educational programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least two years of experience working in a school-based setting.
- Valid Pennsylvania certification for Speech-Language Pathologists via the Commonwealth of PA.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Current state clearances, including background checks, fingerprints, and TB tests if applicable.
