Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or a related field
- Valid Texas State SLPA License
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse student populations
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with school staff
Job Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in the San Antonio, TX area for the remainder of the school year. This position offers flexibility with full or part-time hours and the potential for contract renewal based on performance. As an SLPA, you’ll assist in providing therapy services, helping students improve their speech and language skills in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech therapy services
- Conduct screenings and assist with speech and language assessments
- Provide therapy support in both small group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement treatment plans
- Help students meet their speech and language goals under the direction of the supervising SLP
Position Details:
- Full or Part-Time (Flexible hours)
- Hourly contract position
- Immediate start, continuing through the end of the school year with potential for renewal
