We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Winchendon, MA, for the 2024-2025 school year.
Job Description: As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with Soliant Education, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students. This full-time, full-year position involves working with students in various educational settings, helping them to improve their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in conducting speech and language screenings.
- Implement treatment plans and activities designed by the SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support students in individual and group therapy sessions.
- Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for speech therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
