Job Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and support students in Thomasville, NC for the remainder of the school year. This role offers both full and part-time hours with potential for contract renewal based on performance. As an SLPA, you will work under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students improve their speech and language abilities in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech therapy services
- Conduct screenings and help with assessments under the guidance of the SLP
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions to support speech and language goals
- Keep accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy plans
- Assist students in achieving their speech and language objectives
Position Details:
- Full or Part-Time (Flexible hours)
- Hourly contract position
- Immediate start, continuing through the end of the school year with potential for renewal
- Competitive hourly rate
