About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Therapy Assistant (SLPA) to join a vibrant school team near Auburn, WA. This position involves working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in elementary and middle schools. Your role will focus on helping students achieve their communication goals in both group and one-on-one settings.
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs).
- Provide direct therapy services to students in elementary and middle school.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting students’ progress toward their communication goals.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families to ensure student success.
- Prepare materials and resources needed for therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Active Washington State SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
