Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contractor through Soliant Education
Location: Chatham, VA
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible Hours), Full School Year Contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress and achieve educational objectives.
- Administer therapy sessions individually or in group settings as dictated by IEP requirements.
- Maintain meticulous records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the formulation of student goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Virginia.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
