Compensation: $38 - $50 per hour, Based on Experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the full school year. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to work with students, helping them improve communication skills that are essential for academic and social success. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans to support student growth and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred (CFs are welcome to apply).
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
