We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time position involves working with students in grades K-8, with a caseload of 30-35 students. The SLP will provide speech and language therapy services, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with educators and parents to support student communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students K-8.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students based on their specific needs.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to modify classroom activities for students with speech and language challenges.
- Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed.
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Minnesota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with K-8 students, particularly in a school-based setting, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
