We are looking for a committed Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF) to join our K-12 school team. As part of your Clinical Fellowship year, you will work under the guidance of an experienced SLP, providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy to students with communication challenges.
- Conduct assessments and create treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
- Document therapy progress and participate in IEP meetings.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Receive supervision and feedback from a licensed SLP to meet CF requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) status in Delaware
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with school staff, students, and families.
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education processes.
- Bilingual skills (preferred, not required).
