Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Elk Grove, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students, supporting their speech and language development under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated professional committed to helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in providing speech and language therapy to students
- Implement therapy plans and activities to support student progress
- Document and track student performance and report updates to the supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs
- Maintain compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
