Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Are you a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to make a positive impact in the lives of students in Salem, MA? Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a full-time SLPA to join our team. In this position, you'll work closely with students to help them overcome communication challenges and support their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties in various school settings.
- Partner with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans designed for each student’s needs.
- Assist students in developing essential communication skills such as articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all student and staff interactions.
- Take part in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to meet students’ speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, educators, and other team members.
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
