Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language challenges in a school setting.
  • Collaborate with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement individualized therapy plans for each student.
  • Help students enhance skills in areas like articulation, fluency, and language development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing strategies to achieve students’ communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and staff.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, professional ethics, and industry standards.
