Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language challenges in a school setting.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Assist students in improving skills related to articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with students, staff, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop strategies to support students’ communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and staff.
- Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques, professional ethics, and industry standards.
