Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students with communication and language difficulties across different school environments.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to execute individualized therapy plans based on each student’s needs.
- Support students in developing skills in areas like articulation, fluency, and language acquisition.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff members.
- Take part in IEP meetings and assist in crafting strategies to achieve students’ communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not a requirement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and staff members.
- Knowledge of speech therapy methods, professional ethics, and industry best practices.
