Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language challenges in various school settings.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Help students improve skills in areas such as articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with students and staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing strategies to meet students’ communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, educators, and other staff members.
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, professional ethics, and industry standards.
