Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for an SLPA to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will work directly with students to help them overcome communication barriers and succeed both academically and socially.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing speech therapy to students with speech and language impairments in a school setting.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans.
- Support students in improving articulation, language processing, and fluency skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to meet students' speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with students, teachers, and other staff members.
- Knowledge of speech therapy practices and ethical guidelines.
Position Details:
- Location: Wilmot, WI
- Hours: Part-Time, 28 hours per week
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
