Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of speech therapy services to students with speech and language needs across various school environments.
- Work with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans for students.
- Assist students in developing skills in articulation, language processing, and fluency.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with students and staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering input and helping to develop strategies to meet students' communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
- Knowledge of speech therapy principles, practices, and ethical standards.
Position Details:
- Location: Commerce City, CO
- Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
