Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in speech therapy for students with speech and language challenges across various school settings.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to implement personalized therapy plans.
- Help students improve skills in articulation, language development, and fluency.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff.
- Contribute to IEP meetings, offering insights and strategies to address communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both students and educators.
- Understanding of speech therapy practices and ethical standards.
