Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Schools

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position in Anadarko, OK. We are also open to part-time candidates. In this role, you will assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech and language therapy services to students, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve success in their academic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation of students’ speech and language abilities.
- Implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students using research-based techniques.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.
- Support school staff in understanding and addressing students’ speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current SLPA license in Oklahoma.
- Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Ability to follow directions and work under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
