Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school in Oakland, CA. The SLPA will assist in providing therapy and support to students with speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student needs.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- California SLPA licensure.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
