Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - School-Based - Duarte, CA

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Duarte, CA. The SLPA will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering effective therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing therapy plans as directed by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions focusing on communication skills.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide support to students in classroom settings as needed.
- Educate students and families on speech and language development strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Completion of an SLPA program and California SLPA license.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
