Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Richmond, VA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time opportunity in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers the chance to work with students across multiple school sites, focusing on a K-12th grade caseload, with a primary emphasis on younger students. Position Overview
- Location: Richmond, VA
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Caseload: 2–3 schools, K-12th grade, primarily younger students
- Work Setting: On-site
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students based on individual needs and treatment goals.
- Support students with speech and language difficulties in various classroom settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required).
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA in Virginia (required).
- Experience working with K-12th grade students, especially younger children, is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
