Job Description: School-Based SLPA Opportunity
Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Onsite in Washington State
Dates: ASAP - June 17, 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: Starting at $35/hour
Job Responsibilities:
As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students’ communication needs. Your duties will include:
- Following documented treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
- Documenting student performance through data collection, preparing charts, records, and graphs.
- Reporting performance information to the supervising SLP.
- Assisting the SLP during student assessments.
- Managing clerical tasks, including preparing materials and scheduling activities as directed.
- Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Collecting data for monitoring quality improvement initiatives.
Caseload Details: Specific caseload information is pending and will be provided as soon as available.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work onsite.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions from supervising SLP.
- Commitment to supporting student success through effective communication strategies.
