Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an onsite position in Las Vegas, NV for the 2024/2025 school year. This position requires a commitment of Monday-Thursday each week, with opportunities to work alongside an SLP team. We are also open to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who may be interested in the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about supporting students with communication disorders in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech therapy programs for students
- Collaborate with SLPs and educators to monitor student progress
- Support students with communication and language skills development
- Provide in-person services for elementary to high school students
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday
- Location: Las Vegas, NV
- Start Date: 2024/2025 school year
- Open to: SLPA or SLP candidates
Qualifications:
- SLPA: Active SLPA license in NV
- SLP: Active SLP license in NV (if applicable)
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with the SLP team and educators
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
