Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Eastover, North Carolina. This position will work with a K-12 caseload, providing direct services and support under the supervision of a licensed SLP. The SLPA will be responsible for assisting in therapy sessions, supporting students in various school settings, and helping to implement IEPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students.
- Assist with the implementation of therapy plans and IEP goals.
- Support licensed SLPs during therapy sessions and evaluations.
- Keep track of student progress and document relevant information.
- Help create and maintain a positive learning environment for students.
Requirements:
- Active SLPA license in North Carolina.
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
