We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Lakeside (San Diego area), CA. This is a great opportunity to work with a prior billing client and gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Lakeside, CA
- Schedule: 21 hours per week, School hours will vary depending on site.
- Caseload: K-8th grades at 2 school sites
- Supervision: Provided by the school
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collect data on student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Assist with other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one in California.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
