We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Charlotte, NC! In this role, you will work directly with a K-12 caseload, supporting students with their speech and language goals. Position Details:
- Location: Charlotte, NC
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Job Type: Full-time & Part-time roles available
- Compensation: Competitive hourly and weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing speech and language therapy plans for K-12 students.
- Provide individual and small group therapy sessions focused on speech articulation, language development, fluency, and communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with IEPs and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency and progress across all settings.
- Support students in both general education and special education settings, adapting therapy to individual needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current SLPA certification in North Carolina (or the ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students and staff.
- Prior experience working with K-12 students is a plus but not required.
