We are currently hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position near Haverhill, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and provide critical support to students with speech and language needs.
Position Overview:
- Location: Near Haverhill, MA
- Caseload/Population: K-12 (Applicant's Preference)
- Assignment Period: Full school year
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead SLP with implementing therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Support students with communication disorders by reinforcing learned skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Accurately document student progress and maintain therapy records
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts SLPA certification required
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passionate about supporting children's communication development
