Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Hingham, MA. The ideal candidate will work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to students with communication needs in a supportive school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Document therapy sessions, monitor progress, and provide feedback to the SLP.
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Active Massachusetts SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
