Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Braintree, MA. This school-based position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students, supporting their communication and language development under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering therapy sessions designed by the supervising SLP.
- Implement individualized therapy plans to help students achieve communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress during sessions.
- Provide support in preparing therapy materials and maintaining a productive therapy environment.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure consistency in treatment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active Massachusetts SLPA License or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
