Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Buda, TX
Position Type: Full-Time (2024-2025 School Year)
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work with students in a school-based setting in Buda, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Support students in developing communication, articulation, and language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of treatment strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLPA license is required
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to helping students achieve their communication goals
