Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Buda, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time (2024-2025 Academic Year)
ProCare Therapy is searching for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work in a school setting in Buda, Texas. This role offers the chance to join a collaborative team, providing essential speech and language services to students in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assist in executing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy objectives
- Help students improve their communication, language, and articulation skills
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Keep accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team discussions to develop effective therapy strategies
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Texas SLPA license
- Prior experience in a school environment is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to helping students reach their communication goals
