Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school setting. This position is perfect for those passionate about helping students improve their communication skills while working under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students under the direction of a supervising SLP.
- Implement treatment plans developed by the SLP in both individual and group sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing updates to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
- Valid state SLPA license or certification.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
